Barcelona Wine Bar - Tampa: A Tapestry of Flavors and Atmosphere

I highly recommend this restaurant! I was initially ready to give it five stars, but my Old Fashioned wasn’t quite to my liking. However, the food was absolutely superb—every dish was incredible, from the pork belly and octopus to the pork loin. Next time, I’d stick to just tapas, but I couldn’t resist trying the Pimento Chicken—it’s truly to die for! The atmosphere was excellent, parking was convenient, and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, was impeccably clean. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Visited Barcelona and was I blown away!! I was very impressed with the service and speed, the atmosphere was upbeat and the food was delicious. Zach came over to check on us and even suggested the Olive oil cake. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the tapas!

We just had our first meal here and we will definitely be back! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very nice and attentive and had great suggestions. Everything was good, but my favorite 2 dishes hands-down were the croquetas and the whipped goat cheese. Every employee we interacted with went above and beyond. The dos peninsulas was my favor drink and the torrijas were sweet and delicious

Beautiful lively space. The wine list is pristine with many fun, approachable options for all drinkers. The food (or at least what we ordered) veers on the heavy side with oils or rich sauces. Order wisely. Service can be a hit or miss with attentiveness. In general, Barcelona Wine Bar is a great option for people who aren't familiar with tapas.

Great place but I wouldnt call it authentic. We purchased five plates of tapas and two drinks and it all equaled out to be 100$ with a tip. Not bad, but left a bit hungry. I would recommend still coming and trying new things because of the overall experience and atmosphere. Only downfall is authenticity, the mushrooms were too salty and the salmon crudo was tough and fishy.

A busy, happening restaurant that really maximizes seating space. The food highlights were the pork topped with a poached egg and truffle (only on the brunch menu) and the chicken pimientos. Chicken was juicy and flavorful with a perfectly crispy skin. Bravas were excellent. Good size portions on the charcuterie. High expectations for the paella but was just okay.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Everything was delicious! The general manager Adriana was so nice and welcoming. Our server Diandra was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back! Next time with friends!
